Agreement for commercial ENUM in Ireland

ComReg Chair Mike Byrne and representatives of IENUM Ltd have signed an agreement to provide Ireland's first commercial ENUM service. IENUM is a joint venture between the IE Domain Registry and the Internet Foundation of Austria (IPA).
Each of the participants in IENUM has a proven record in managing the national top-level Internet domain in their respective country. IPA's significant experience in providing commercial ENUM in Austria and its leadership in developing architecture and practices for ENUM are expected to be of major benefit to the Irish ENUM service.
